Eat Chica: A delicious no brainer!

5 Days to an Easier Period: Day 2

First, we want to let you know that your craving for chocolate around your period is validated! Chocolate contains the mineral magnesium, a mood stabilizer, which is very helpful when you are approaching your period.

While dark chocolate offers magnesium (and milk or poorly sourced chocolate likely has no magnesium at all), Chica Chocolate also includes our Chinese herbal formula that helps to balance your hormones and nourish your circulation, which can ease your period.

What’s in Chica Chocolate’s Chinese herbal formula and why?

Cramp Busters

Get your life back from cramps with Bupleurum, Dong Quai, and White Peony.

Mood Soothers

Make PMS a breeze with Poria, Atractylodes, and Honey-Fried Licorice.

Cycle Nourishers

Support your period-health with Dong Quai, White Peony, and Honey-Fried Licorice.

Skin Savers

In Chica Glow, we add Moutan Peony bark and Gardenia fruit to help flush excess heat and toxins from the blood, relieving you of hormonal acne flareups.

Now that you know what’s in Chica, we’d like to share a bit more with you about eating Chica as a part of a comprehensive plan for loving your amazing body and the hormones that rule it.

Here is what Chica isn’t:

  • A quick fix – we recommend 3 months to give your body time to respond to the herbs
  • A pain reliever like acetaminophen or an NSAID – most of our clients report a decrease in pain and many experience a reduction in pain their first month of eating Chica, but it doesn’t manage pain acutely like pain medicine.
  • Candy – it’s delicious, but Chica is not candy. Chica is first and foremost a unique and delicious way to get the benefits of our Chinese herbal formula, so while they are yummy, for best results, please don’t gobble them willy nilly. Follow the recommended protocol of 2 Chica a day for 6 days, 7 – 10 days before you expect your period to start.

What Chica is, is a choice to love and support your amazing body, hormones and all! Chica is making the choice to work with your body rather than forcing it to submit. While forced submission, such as what occurs while on the pill, can bring temporary relief, that choice can come with its own set of side effects.

That said, one thing we firmly believe is that everyone who bleeds has a right to choose what is best for their body. If you are currently on the pill or considering it to ease difficult periods, that choice is between you and your doctor. And, pill or no pill, we invite you to eat Chica as a part of a comprehensive and gentle strategy to feel good every day.

Don’t miss this step for an easier period! Get your Chica! We’re offering Chica to you for 20% off, just use the code 5DAYS at checkout.
